Dogs in the city

We are not sure if there are actually more dogs here or if we just see them because owners have to walk them. Mecki and Leo have two dogs that are the love of their lives. They get to go on three walks a day and one swimming session in the ocean. Max the schnauzer is the swimmer. Sometimes they are worried he might not come back!
The city is very clean, but Allen and I do have a "poop" callout to each other when we see some on the sidewalk as a warning.
I was at the mall waiting for Allen to buy some wine and water and noticed how you really would think that we were in any mall in America. Everyone looks very European.
Tomorrow is Allen's birthday. To celebrate we are taking the bus to the mercado del puerto. This is the meat parilla capital of Montivedeo. This is where Anthony Bordain ate all the fresh barbecued meat. It should be excellent. The weather calls for a bit of rain but still nice.
Tonight we made our first non-food purchase. We found a little map book that has bus route numbers on it. It still does not show the route, but you can look at where you are and then find the map of where you want to go, then we have to see which numbers serve both areas.
I am still pretty confused at school but that's not much of a surprise. Adios.
